Bob and I planned a more leisurely pace for our third day in the area of Little Manitou Lake in Saskatchewan, Canada. After extensive hiking through the Dunes at Sandbanks Provincial Park a day earlier, Bob and I chose to give our feet a rest and go cycling. A planned excursion on the Millennium Trail got off to a slow start because we had difficulty locating our preferred trailhead. Read more
After spending the morning exploring the mega dunes that border West Lake in Sandbanks Provincial Park, Bob and I decided to walk the official Dunes Trail in the park. The reward for our extra effort was being serenaded by a beautiful Eastern Towhee. Read more
A few years ago, Bob and I decided that it would be great to canoe the Barron Canyon in the northeast part of Algonquin Provincial Park. We had learned that it is a one-of-a-kind location to canoe in the Park. After our excursion, we had to agree with that thinking. Read more
