After extensive hiking through the Dunes at Sandbanks Provincial Park a day earlier, Bob and I chose to give our feet a rest and go cycling. A planned excursion on the Millennium Trail got off to a slow start because we had difficulty locating our preferred trailhead. Read more
After exploring Great Sand Hills Ecological Preserve a day earlier, Bob and I were now en route to Little Manitou Lake in Watrous. What we did not expect to find was Danceland, a world famous dance hall overlooking the lake. Read more
After spending the morning exploring the mega dunes that border West Lake in Sandbanks Provincial Park, Bob and I decided to walk the official Dunes Trail in the park. The reward for our extra effort was being serenaded by a beautiful Eastern Towhee. Read more
