Owned by the Toussaud’s at the time, the Castle was populated with period actors, and demonstrations and re-enactments promised to keep us entertained. Read more

After our peaceful and relaxing walkabout Hamurana Springs Reserve in Rotorua, Bob and I drove south to Wai-o-tapu Thermal Wonderland. It is New Zealand’s most colourful and diverse geothermal area. Read more
After extensive hiking through the Dunes at Sandbanks Provincial Park a day earlier, Bob and I chose to give our feet a rest and go cycling. A planned excursion on the Millennium Trail got off to a slow start because we had difficulty locating our preferred trailhead. Read more
